Who knows the game? If you play Euchre, where did you learn (geographic location)..... just trying to figure something out here.

 

I grew up in New Mexico. I had never played, nor heard, of Euchre until
I moved to Indiana. Now, I love the game. I think it's a midwest thing.

 

I am thinking the same thing.... That's why I posted this.... My guess, not many people outside Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan have heard of it.

 

I used to play online some. Almost all the people
playing were from the states you listed.

 

I was surprised to see more guys in the service played spades or hearts, than euchre as big as euchre is here. I prefer spades. I suck at euchre.

 

I learned to play in Ohio as a small kid. One of my favorite card games.

we have so many tournaments you could do it seven days and nights a week.

Ohio, and people I have met from the west and south are not familiar with it. But OH, IN, etc usually have heard of it at least, if not know how to play. We even have euchre parties with 8 or 10 tables.

Ohio, used to have over on hour bus ride to school. Eucher is what kept us out of trouble and into trouble. Man, we could get into some good games which resulted in some fights sometimes. Never wanted to get your butt whipped on the bus, cause when you got home you'd get another, no fun getting two butt wippings in a day. Havent played in a long time, probably going to get to on New Years Eve, going to the neighbors and they play to ( still in OHIO LOL).
