Escort Radar Detectors?
I never "target" cars with a radar detector, but if I stop someone, and they've got one, they get a ticket, period.....
and it is FUN pacing cars rather than using the radar, it doesnt have to be night, most folks dont seem to realize your behind them anyways, they never use their mirrors...
Those are the same folks that will sit in the left lane next to another car completely oblivious to the line of cars piling up behind them.
Then there's the jerks who don't care if they're blocking traffic.
Years ago my older brother and I came across an old RADAR gun at a HAM swap-meet. It looked like a gasser timing light. Even had what looked a lot like a SUN brand tach guage to show the vehicle's speed.
You talk about having some fun on a long road-trip! LOL!!
Somebody comes flying by and you don't even have to bring it up over the dash. Just ding the button, and at that close of a range, it no doubt pegs their RADAR meter thing. They jamb on brakes and jump in the slow lane. When they think the coast is clear, they jump back into the fast lane and start to speed back up. Ding them again, and they panic jumping back in the slow lane.
HAHA! I've seen a few toss the RADAR detector in the back seat out of frustration.
. . . . Good times . ..
