Dura-Coat for concrete

Has anyone used this product on their garage floor? I've been thinking of coating the floor in my polebarn with this product but wasn't shure if it was worth it. They want $99 a gallon and it doesn't say how much a gallon covers. : I know when I put the sealer on the floor it took 3 gallons just to do the floor inside the polebarn, and that stuff was only $75 for 5 gallons. I just thought it would look pretty sweet with a nice blue coating on it, and the fact that you could just wipe the oil off is pretty cool as well. <br><br>Here's their website http://www.protectyoursurface.com/products/<br><br>Just looking for a few opinoins.<br><br>Thanks<br>DB

I don't have an opinion on it other than I wished my garage wasn't so full of crap so I could put that on my floor. Let us (or me) know if you get any more details on it.

I don't have an opinion on this particular product but I did seal the floor in my garage with a clear sealer. I have been very happy with it. My only concern with going with a colored or paint on surface would be the small chips in the concrete that happen. a little more noticable than a clear sealer.

This is what I fount out.<br><br>1. It would take 4 gallons to do my size of floor. That would be about $450 including the shipping on the cans. <br><br>2. It's by no means a paint, it's more of like a clear coat you put on paint. 8) The guy I talked with on the phone said I could take a hammer and hit the floor and it would not chip or flake off.<br><br>3. It is very (and he said Very) slick when wet. <br><br>The guy was super nice and also told me many other things but after he said $450 I kinda blacked out. :'(<br><br>I have a sealer on my floor already so I'm going to just stay with it, but if I had it to do over again I would love to put this stuff on my floor.<br><br>DB

One thing you can do to stop it from being so slick is put this stuff in it called Tiger Shark or something like that. It's basically this fine sand you put in and mix with the paint. We painted our driveway and didn't put this stuff in there. Now if it's slightly wet, I have to put my truck in 4x4 just to pull in. In the garage we put it in when we painted it, now you have a hard sliding your feet across it. Even if it's wet. The stuff is real cheap.
