Question Dumb question about brake pads

Getting ready to replace the pads and rotors on my front axle on the truck. Silly question on the pads. I have all four pads, 2 with the squealers and 2 without. Does the pad with the squealer go on the inboard or outboard side of the rotor?

Shouldn't matter but... most piston side pads wear faster so I put mine on the inner side against the piston.

Turn the disks or be like me with the loudest/squeakiest brakes in town. I need turn the disks before they drive me nuts.

have fun
