Hey, I'm only 26 and love that song. You should get plates that read "IH8 DMV"
Sorry to hear about all that mess....Sounds about like my luck usually goes, too.

In 1968 my Dad was driving us from Randolph AFB to Mather AFB. Somplace in E Texas, the radio started playing the live version of Folsom Prison Blues (done inside the prison). My Mom and Dad had gotten married in Reno NV (part of the song) so we had to listen to my Dad sing that dang song for the next two days. I was into R and Roll by then so I had to pretend to hate country music but secretly bought some of his albums. I still have some Johnny Cash LP's.

I actually have the "Live at Folsom Prison" LP album stashed around here somewhere; SUN RECORDS I think.

My father bought it brand-new at a Johnny Cash concert when I was about knee-high.

He about wore it out, lifting the needle and moving it back the least little bit, over and over and over, while trying to get certain guitar licks just right "like Johnny did 'em."

One thing for certain, my father, although always completely self-centered and worse the older he gets, can flat pick a guitar with the best of 'em.

Born left-handed, writes left-handed, shoots left-handed, even picks his nose left-handed; yet, he has always played a guitar RIGHT-handed.

He could walk out on the stage with any star musician and play right along with them, never missing a beat.

It's difficult for the mentally deficient to be held accountable in the first place, so relax!

There was a thread on here a couple years back on vanity plates for the Cummins. There were some really good ones.

I ran SIXSLUG on mine for a couple years. Some guy in a ford in MT says "Them sixes sure do lug, don't they?!" I said "no partner, that's six slugs, as in pistons. We don't need eight!"

He laughed, we understood each other.

I had URBURND on my 69 GTO in high school. I have a few others I'm mulling over right now, I like ITSMOXM for a hot rod Cummins.

I had a custom plate on one car a long time ago that said TI3VOM on the front of the car. Indiana doesn't use the front plate so that area is open. (Write it on a piece of paper in large letters and hold it up to a mirror.)
