Afternooner all!

Went to the gym again this AM. Arms feel like jello. That's better than my legs felt all weekend. They hurt to even move let alone go up and down the stairs...... As Madhat would say....... Broke off!

Tim- why not the jaws of life for the stainless ring? definatlet faster than 1.5 hours......

Claude- sorry to hear that. I'll send up a prayer for you.

I'm playing IT guru again. If you don't hear from me, it didn't work out real well for me. I' better with the wrenches and handcuffs than hard drives.....

Be back later,

I hope.

How's everyone today? Good here, weather is starting to feel more like winter now. Calling for rain and possibly snow around turkey day, bout time winter shows up. Dad has a project for me again to work on. He want to make a blade for the front of his loader so he can plow his drive and parking lot. Got a few ideas I'm gonna draw up and see what might be best for his use.

Tacos for dinner tonight.

Matt, this is what I did to mount a plow in the bucket of my Kubota.

Hope this helps.

Could you imagine the look on everyone's face as we trudge through the ER with all kinds of jaws equipment. I wanted to use the bolt cutters we use to cut hand cuffs of with, but somehow I don't think I could have been to precise.

I've done the bt cutters on the handcuff trick a time or two. Rookie Trooper wasn't too happy with me that day. I did duck tape his cuffs back together fir him though......

Still playing IT guru with the 'puter in my office. It's thinking alot. Posting from the iPhone right now.

Tim, that's a bunch of nice work on the plow for the tractor!

I was lucky when I found my JCB loader in that it had a quick attach front bucket. I made up a 3 point hitch plate to replace the bucket, then adapted my old Diamond plow off from my 93 Dodge to fit it. One nice benefit is that with the top link in place, I can put down-pressure on the plow for scraping the icy stuff. Hopefully someday I'll have other attachments I can hang off the plate too. I suppose I ought to paint the thing one of these days. The loader has 2 hydraulic outlets on the loader arms, so I run the grapples on the bucket with them and the angle for the plow.

Thanks for the pictures Scott and Tim! I had an idea similar to that, makes it alot easier to figure out now with a couple pictures to use as a reference.

Tacos were good tonight, got left overs for tomorrows lunch. Watched a movie while eating dinner, put in the John Wayne movie Hellfighters. Beena while since I've seen it, one of my favorites.

Isn't it funny how my plow looks too big for my tractor, and your plow looks to small for yours?

Nice job on the fab up Scott.

Your welcome Matt.

How do you guy's quote a post and edit it while still having it contained within the white quote box? I have back spaced deleted info I did not want to be part of a quote, then it shows up on the same back ground and not in the white box. Please educate me, I have my crayons out.

Actually, I think yours looks PERFECT for your tractor. I could use a 9 footer I guess, but I'd be happy if I could make it angle a bit more. I may do that this winter if I get the time and the $. Typical Diamond tho. That's the most common complaint I've heard about them.

I don't think I follow what you're saying. It sounds like you're doing the right thing to get rid of unwanted things in a quote. I usually highlight it then hit 'delete', but either method should work.

Highlight the text you want to delete, or the images or ...

Example

If you delete the bold text from above, the quote will look like this...

Tim, it looks like you're leaving the last '[/QUOTE]' tag out. Don't delete that when you delete everything else.
