im here to babysit.
I didn't want to come here to begin with.
I dont get any extra compensation for this.
All I get is away from my family and to sit.
then I get to risk my life TWICE in Egyptian traffic, not to mention spending 20-1/2 hours traveling.
When I get home, im two MORE weeks behind on everything.

How did I miss you were in Egypt? The drivers there are both crazee and amazing all at the same time. I don't know why they bother with lines in the road - - no one uses them. Three lanes - - oh boy, let's go five abreast. Our driver had a brand new Mercedes and it did not have a scratch on it. But, he traveled beside beat up old taxis with a couple inches between us. As long as he could get his front bumper about 2' in front of that other car, he owned that other lane and would just start moving over. Amazing. And as he did it he would be only a couple inches behind the car in front of the taxi as he came over. I refused to look at the road and just looked at the scenery and buildings and people. Quite an experience.

Well, got the back end of the Ghost waxed - - boy it looks good. I have really neglected it. Do a bit each day - - not so bad that way.

OK, more ph00 and gone.

Bob

funny thing. there are quite a few black Mercedes around Cairo. look great, not a scratch on them, but they will be bumper to bumper with the most beat up POS and drive right in their mix. I dont know if they get regular paint jobs and body repair or what, but every mercedes looks brand new.
Then youll see some 40's model ford 2 ton truck that doesn't have a straight panel on it except where the driver has cleaned it up and painted some artwork on it.
some have lots of chrome and lights on them. the rest will have some bling.

just when I wanted to work, it rained. stopped. hubby got home early to put up more steel on the boat garage. yup, started to rain. it isn't bad in the rain, it's the slippery scaffold, boards, posts, and steel that can kill ya.

fronty, sorry bout the time away. time for contract negotiation....
