There's actually a reason for it. Unlike the refrigerator, things in the freezer don't tend to spill all over everything when you accidentally knock them over reaching for something else.

And you quite obviously don't understand the concept of dark absorption theory.

 

Actually the real reason has to do with temperature changes.

A frozen light bulb when powered on would cause a rapid heat change to the (frozen) glass and shatter.

 

Ahhhhhh, but the real question is why it does not get colder due to absorbing dark, which by definition, has no light energy...

 

Cause the freezer is plugged in.... That makes it cold so the dark doesnt have to work as hard.

Dark absorber PRODUCE light by absorbing all surrounding darkness.
