Well, Jim is his name. He apparently still had complications from the bike accident and that caused the stroke. He will have surgery on Tuesday to remove a clot thats blocking 90% of a artery going to his brain. They apparently had a insert in there from the accident to stop this from happening, but it failed? Not very sure of the exact problem, but this is what I got from his wife.

He is just very bored. He doesn't know how to be still unless broken limbs force him to. This is a man that at 69, 50 years older then I almost to the day, took his Vicodin with two budwisers at 11am, went into the woods and climbed a tree for the first time in two years since his accident.

He seems to be ok, but we'll know more after the surgery

Wanted to give you all a Will update but needed to wait until I had all the info. He went for a follow up doctor's appointment last Thursday. His blood work showed his potassium was high again so the doctor admitted him back into Children's hospital. They did another kidney biopsy on Friday and the news is not good. His kidneys are only working at about 15% and by time he starts school in a year and a half he will need a transplant. They are going to do home dialysis until a solution is found.

Have kept Will on my prayer list, but will double up on them.
Keep us informed of any new developments.

a friend of mine lost one of his houses (wild fires) out at Possum Kingdom lake (90 miles west of Fort Worth, Texas.) and now I understand he is trying to save his primary house out there. I ask for prayers for his safety, and the safety of all the residents and firemen trying to get this situation under control.

the house was just up from the dock there, and the fires are headed towards there primary home.

all I can do is ask our heavenly Father to put a hedge of protection around the firefighters and the homes..

 

Both homes of theirs were a complete loss, keep prayers going for the firemen and the others that still have property standing.
