Will is scheduled for surgery today to take out the temporary dialysis port and put in a more permanent one, not good news. His kidneys still have not restarted. His diagnosis in now officially vasculitis. They have confirmed it is present in his heart and lungs as well. He's being treated accordingly.
My nephew's son Nate is scheduled for his surgery today as well. The plan for him is to drill a hole in the top of his head and slice through the outer membrane of the cyst to empty it's contents. I'm told the cyst and accompanying fluid makes up a mass about the size of a tangerine. This is the first step in the process and if it goes well, he should be discharged home on Thursday to finish his recovery there. I should have news on Nate by the middle of this afternoon.

Good Lord i had lost touch with this tread !!! We will be praying for these little guys for shure.
The Lord works in ways we don't understand and some times we get what we ask for and sometimes not, but through it all he will be by our side helping us understand the outcome.
all is done for his glory.

Found out this evening that the diagnosis of vasculitis has been taken off the table since the biopsy report came back. The hospital is back to square one thinking the problem is with the meds he received prior to and immediately after entering the hospital.

The kidneys still haven't kicked in but it's a victory.
