Thanks guys! Phone rang at 0120 this morning. Will's kidneys have totally shut down and he's been moved to ICU. The medical staff still have no idea why.

Latest news from 30 minutes ago. His condition is unchanged but they now suspect it was from the Advil he received from the Pediatrician on Monday combined with the Motrin he had been receiving since he got to Children's. He has been taken off the Motrin and placed on Morphine.

T/rad, don't know if this has any bearing on the problem, but did you know that some lots of Motrin have been recalled and that there are lawsuits already?

Still praying.

I did Stan but it was my understanding it was about something to do with packaging. The kids just got back from the hospital a few minutes ago. No change either way, good or bad. They do labs every 6 hours so there's always a chance we could get some good news at any time. I did find out Will had never had Advil or Motrin before, only children's Tylenol. Thanks for being faithful!

Thanks for the update.

My understanding of the recall is that it had to do with the possibility of some equipment not being cleaned properly. The hidden factor is that there is a possibility of some product getting contaminated.
It affects some Tylenol, Benadryl, Sinutab, Sudafed and Rolaids.

The evening update on Will is that his kidneys are not working. He went in for dialysis this afternoon. The hope is that after a few days of this his kidneys will restart on their own.

Thanks Tim. We're all hoping the docs are correct and all will turn around in a few days.

Continuing the Prayers Rick.

If I may, I found out that my new Boss, Dave, had to step away to attend to his father. Seems as though his father is ailing, and may be in bad shape. Dave is a great Guy, and takes very, very good care of his direct family, and his indirect family (employees). I can only imagine what a great man his father is. It seems as though things would have to be serious for him to step away with such short notice.

If you guys could find it in your heart to add a prayer for Dave and his father, after you have attended to little Will, It would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You all once again,

God Bless you all.
