The DTR Misfits Breakroom (10/14 - 10/20)

Morning folks. Bored at work so I figured I'd go ahead and unlock the door on this weeks breakroom....has a bit of a nasty smell in here. I guess I'll light the lantern and try to track it down....oh wait, might not be a good idea to have fire around a possible methane leak. It does smell a lot like a sewer pipe towards the back of the place.

Anywho, I'll fire up the coffee pot and set some PhOo out on the table, hopefully by the time some of you misfits come in here there will still be some left....the rats are still asleep. (Might start looking for a cleaner place for the breakroom)

Hope everyone has a great day of R&R....mine won't start until Monday morning. I guess I should be thankful that I have a job at all.

I guess I better get back to being productive. Later.

Mornin' all.

Wifey got up and made eggs and a whole package of scrapple.
There's no such thing as 'leftover' scrapple........MMMmmmmmmm!

Temps supposed to be around 10 degrees higher today.
Yesterday was a sneak preview of cooler Fall weather.

Hope ya'll have a safe and relaxing day.
Tomorrow's 8 hours that ain't been touched yet.

Morning Shovelhead. We are supposed to have a cold front move through here today at some point. Not much of one seeing as the high today is mid 80's and low tonight high 50's.

Scrambled eggs does sound good...just got home from work and it's just me and the dog....everyone else is still sawing logs!! The PhOo I put out earlier has already been thrown out...had something growing on it already. You made me hungry reading your post....think I'll start banging pans together and see what kid of response I get.

Couldn't choke down all the T-bone steak last night, so I guess I'll get some with the eggs this morning.

Looks like the ignitor is failing in the rice burner (Honda). Distributor looked pretty oily when I put a cap on it last year, so I guess I need to go to UpullRparts and find a decent one.

All this talk of eggs and T-Bones.......

Looks like I'll have to take matters into my own hands and warm up a Pop-Tart or something. Getting hungrier by the minute.

Good morning all, it seems breakfast food is the topic of conversation this morning. I am just about to cook up a batch of eggs hashbrowns and rashers. I have to get a cup of Joe through me first though. Somehow that Honey Do list that I beat the heck out of yesterday grew ver night. DW seems to have added a bunch of new stuff to it. Oh we'll, the stuf has to get done and I would rather do it before the snow flies.
Have a good day y'all.

I'm going to de-rail the breakfast conversations for a minute because after tons of searching I can't seem to find a straight answer on this....My NV273 (electronic) t-case isn't shifting right anymore. Some say it's a plug issue and some say it's an actuator problem. Tried finding info on an electronic to manual swap and came up empty handed. I would rather go manual if possible. Can someone shed some light on this. If not, then we'll go back to breakfast.

By the way, I'm still hungry.

morning all.

walked in the kitchen as my wife was cooking and notice she had a 1/2 dozen bandaids wrapped around her finger.
she nicked it while cutting sausage.... This is the third or fourth time she has cut herself in the last couple years.

Good afternoon folks, today turned out to be semi-productive. I installed a BD noise isolated and my tyranny will again stay in TC lockup. I hope this cure lasts a while. That job took about 20 mins. Then I installed my new Wheel Skins steering wheel cover. It looks good but THAT job took over an hour to do right. The instructions say it takes an hour but I didn't believe them. Huh - instructions were accurate after all. DW and I are having total comfort food tonight - chili cheese fries!! We don't eat like this often and I am really looking forward to it. Spuds for fries are from our garden and veggies in chili are from the garden too. Look at me trying to rationalize chili cheese fries

Finished wiring a set of these under the rear of the new truck.

Stock "Back-Up Lights" suck.
Even with the reverse camera, there's so much shadowing it's hard to see what's going on.
These are LEDs and are supposed to draw less than 5 amps.
We'll see, I wired them directly to the back-ups in the rear light housings for now.
If it looks like too much juice, I'll wire them to trigger off the stock lights and run a relay Hot lead to the battery.

Also, they look like the "Hideout Lights" the po-po uses.......I'm sure I'll get a few close looks from folks passing me......

Evening all.. Spent a little time in the stand this weekend. Seen a couple of nice ones but no shooters.. Still a lot of season left and holding out till the rut. Worked on the winter pasture for the horses. Starting to realize that these critters require just as much attention as my kids!!
