DTR, Can I ask for your prayers.

Wow. I don't know where to start.

I just walked in the door a little while ago and I layed down on my bed and passed out. I was awoken to some god awful news. My dad came in w/ a look on his face and I knew something was wrong right away.

He just got off the phone with a good friend of the family from Georgia. Apparently our friend Gary and his son Garret(a good friend of mine) had a argument and Garret hoped on his bike to get away from it all for a while. Well as he was riding down the road and a truck ran him over killing him on the spot. I don't know if the driver was drunk or what. But god this is awful.

I just wanted to get this off my chest and if it's not to much to ask can you all keep him and his family in your prayers. Thanks everyone.

RIP Garret, you will be greatly missed.

What a shame, that's why I hate those crotch rockets.

Prayers for the family and you, bud. It'll take time, but the hurt will pass.

Done. That poor father! He is going to feel ultra bad after just arguing with his son. This may haunt him for the rest of his life. I really feel for him and the family.

How tragic. A young life gone, and a father that will live in grief for the rest of his life.

God be with them.

I'm so sorry man, for your loss of a friend, and the fathers loss of a son. Its got to be terribly hard for everyone, especially the father. My prayers will be with him tonight.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone, I do appreciate it. Truely I do.

It's weird how things happen. I feel sad but at the same time i'm numb for some reason.

Once again thanks. And thanks to the mod who ever moved this in the proper place.
