On any Sunday.
Day of rest my.... donkey.
On the way to the shop today, stopped to fill the Ford with fuel. And it wouldn't start again. Quick diagnosis, CPS failure. Pulled the spare out of the center console, 15 minutes and some creative language later, I was on the road. Girl at the gas bar commented on how often I seem to work on my truck there.....
Off to the shop for some relaxing work and getting things done. Come out.. truck won't start. No crank. Troubleshoot and.... the S wire broke off the terminal on the starter. Come more creative language and cheap parts, and away we go again. Get home, the HPOP is leaking from the o-ring on the rear plug.
Oh well.... at least its cold out.
Otherwise, life is moving along as always, only 8 more sleeps til the BIG DAY.... ( December 21, for those who don't get it ) After that, its all downhill into summer.
Green tea with cinnamon and honey to warm up with. Have a good one people.

The BIL is a Bears fan, he called me up today and told me how digusted he is with his team this year. That venison stew sounds good!Evening DTR, got back a little bit ago from the wifes company Christmas party. Her boss threw a nice party for his couple employees. We had dinner and drinks at a very nice country club that he blongs to, he paid for everything, very nice guy.
and of course, you ate the pantry out of the clubhouse. soooo he may give the wife a raise to feed you. LOL yeah, I know , j/k
that stew was good-gone in 60 seconds is another term.
philly game was good; san diego was good too. hate new york and dallas.
finishing up gov work. I have given up on the weather. hot chocolate and small pretzels are the snack of choice tonight.
where's Redleg?? i need another question answered....
well, nightshift will be on duty to control the happy people (50 degrees and above)

Oh they fed us well there! Either had the choice of a thick cut Filet Mignon or a thick bone-in ribeye steak. everyone was full after dinner was over.
Lookin for a nurse tank for when I make trips outside….also I can buy enough cheaper fuel in Fairbanks to make it worth while.
LOL thanks
Oh....bought this Fill-Rite FR152 Piston Hand Pump also, shame you can't put a filter on this without going all Rube Goldberg on it. Now looking for something like this In-Hose Fuel Filter
I am thinking of agricultural application filters. don't have the magazine/catalog around to tell you who, what and where. learn a few tricks doing bio diesel...
nurse tank? heck, you drove a truck- get a tanker rig LOL! [_____][=\
oo oo o
done with gov work. debating whether to sleep on the couch and look at Christmas tree/lights or slide in next to sleeping hubby. who wakes up in two hours...

Can't find a inline 3/4 inch filter for diesel, not like I am gonna put trash in my tank but.....Speaking of tankers, I ran across a set of doubles out on a remote farm road late at night last week....bet somebody swung by to top of a tank.

Heidi! If your feet are cold, slide in with hubby. My wife says being a foot warmer is one of my few good qualities. Been busy dealing with in-law problems so was away from home again (I hate going to Anchorage). Had access to a computer so was able to read everybodys words of wisdom but forgot my PW so was unable to post. It would have been nothing but whining anyway. Night All!!
It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

Morning all. Been away for a week (yeah, I know, nobody missed me
) but am now back in Paradise. Spent the week in supposedly sunny Texas. I thought that Texas was supposed to be warm and sunny. NOT! Once I crossed the border the weather closed in and for the entire week only saw sun for about 10 minutes, plus it was darn cold. Was forced to wear long pants for the entire week instead of my usual shorts. How depressing.
Half an hour back into Mexico, the sun came out, it warmed up and now I am happy and back in my shorts and flip flops. Drove 16 hours yesterday. Anyway, you 'Merkuns should be happy as I dropped a pile of money up there to try to help your stalling economy.
