On any Sunday.
Day of rest my.... donkey.
On the way to the shop today, stopped to fill the Ford with fuel. And it wouldn't start again. Quick diagnosis, CPS failure. Pulled the spare out of the center console, 15 minutes and some creative language later, I was on the road. Girl at the gas bar commented on how often I seem to work on my truck there.....
Off to the shop for some relaxing work and getting things done. Come out.. truck won't start. No crank. Troubleshoot and.... the S wire broke off the terminal on the starter. Come more creative language and cheap parts, and away we go again. Get home, the HPOP is leaking from the o-ring on the rear plug.
Oh well.... at least its cold out.
Otherwise, life is moving along as always, only 8 more sleeps til the BIG DAY.... ( December 21, for those who don't get it ) After that, its all downhill into summer.
Green tea with cinnamon and honey to warm up with. Have a good one people.

Oh they fed us well there! Either had the choice of a thick cut Filet Mignon or a thick bone-in ribeye steak. everyone was full after dinner was over.

Can't find a inline 3/4 inch filter for diesel, not like I am gonna put trash in my tank but.....Speaking of tankers, I ran across a set of doubles out on a remote farm road late at night last week....bet somebody swung by to top of a tank.

Heidi! If your feet are cold, slide in with hubby. My wife says being a foot warmer is one of my few good qualities. Been busy dealing with in-law problems so was away from home again (I hate going to Anchorage). Had access to a computer so was able to read everybodys words of wisdom but forgot my PW so was unable to post. It would have been nothing but whining anyway. Night All!!

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Morning all. Been away for a week (yeah, I know, nobody missed me) but am now back in Paradise. Spent the week in supposedly sunny Texas. I thought that Texas was supposed to be warm and sunny. NOT! Once I crossed the border the weather closed in and for the entire week only saw sun for about 10 minutes, plus it was darn cold. Was forced to wear long pants for the entire week instead of my usual shorts. How depressing. Half an hour back into Mexico, the sun came out, it warmed up and now I am happy and back in my shorts and flip flops. Drove 16 hours yesterday. Anyway, you 'Merkuns should be happy as I dropped a pile of money up there to try to help your stalling economy.
