DTR's Cow Boss
Morning all coffee is chew-able but other wise delightful I ain't put my finger on it yet but i think there is a marine that got the gun powder mixed up with coffee grounds but heck its working.
Sitting here and filling all the papers out to finally go to college scary word i know but its time and i have put it off long enough i have to go back to the high-school to-get my transcripts Wednesday oh boy that should be fun. Sos when I am all done with school I will have a associates degree in arts and applied sciences/farrier science its a 2 year deal but its probably besides buying my truck the best decision i have made in awhile

Chaikwa - - amazing - - hope you patented that thing. Just think, use waste water to flush the toilet. I like it. Yep, found the foo foo coffee - - not bad - - thanks for thinking of me.
Cold front moved into Florida - - some clouds around, light rain occassionally between the sun and getting cold - - the high will only hit 70 today. Wow. Gotta go get to work - - have a good one.

Got a weird call yesterday. On my cell phone I get a call from a recorded message that was in Spanish. I guess it's either the sign of the times or the sign of being in Texas.

Morning guys... stayed home from work today... got the creeping crude thats been going around here.. sinus are on strike and tummy rebels at the thought of anything more severe than oatmeal...(insert sickly smiley here)..
this "stuff" has been rampant on post this winter, keeps circulating around, and I had been lucky enough to miss it till now..
Slow days around the home place, cant work the horses much till the ice melts, cant cut wood 'cause I broke the chain on the saw, cant replace the E-brake cables on the truck 'cause I cant get the rear lugs off( think they're welded on, no impact wrench) 4' cheater wouldn't do it...
guess i am going to put in a John Wayne DVD and clean tack...
Scared to try the without a 5 gallon bucket handy, so think I will stick to some fresh OJ that the BOSS left for me.
Y'all have agood'un...............

Madhat's REAL new avatar
Ok, after the Toil-A-Sink install, I figured a nice relaxin' day was in order. So, I did some 'detective' work and dug up the real x-ray of Madhat. Kinda explains alot!

Hello everyone !!!
I finally get a minute to poke my head in to see what's new ... What a week !!
First off .... Congrats to SSGT MORTON !!! Good on ya, brother !!!
I made the long trip back to the states via military airlift (Space-A). I was genuinely impressed. Cost me $26.10 and I ate like a king !! (HAD CHICKEN ... THREE TIMES IN A ROW ). Surrounded by nothing but military folks, most coming back from the desert and all feeling really good to be going home !!
Had a job interview set up for today ... but had to cancel it due to the birth of my first grandbaby !!! Little Miss Adrianne was born at 0315 and came in at 6lbs 7oz, 19 inches. The new mom, dad and baby are all doing well. Gramma and Grampa sat in B.E.R.T. out in the hospital parking lot and had a celebratory margarita !! (for medicinal reasons ... ).
Trying to get the last minute chores tied up so we can head to Germany on Thursday. There is absolutely no way we will get everything done in time ... a typical Hurst family operation. If you wait until the last minute, then it will only take a minute !!
I will post pics of the baby when I get back to MY computer and a much faster connection... this dial up is gonna kill me !!
Cheers,
GRAMPA PISTOL
