Nothing wrong with living in one, I have a couple friends that live or lived in a park before. They are a couple nice ones near me, but alot of the ones in this area are pretty run down and not something you'd wanna live in. Alot of crime in some of the bad ones, especially near Gary, Portage, and Hammond IN. The nice parks in the area are ran like a nice subdivision, they have home owners associations, rules, and all that crap to follow so they stay nice and keep the bad element out.

I tried growing my hair long back in high school, didn't work for me to well. Too much of a PITA when its longer. I keep it very short for a reason, that reminds me I'm due for a hair cut this week, been 3 weeks since my last one.

Evening DTR, cool today and the rain missed us so far. Supose to be nice this weekend, looks like I'll be getting the lawn tractor out and servicing it and maybe do some other yard work. Not ready to mow yet but I might as well get the tractor ready.

Stayin home tonight, GF is baby sitting for a friend of hers. I told her don't take the job literally and don't sit on the baby. No projects going on for me tonight. Tomorrow I might go help my friend plant hay.

Beer time.

work???

well, not much of it today... I think I logged about 1-1/2 hours

went to the maul with the wife, had a beer and fajitas, come home and decided to clean the truck some. pulled my bed liner out and washed the debris out then went back and washed the truck and bed liner. The truck seriously needs to have a clay bar taken to it.

I clayed my truck a few weekends ago, it needed it too after this winter. Gonna give a very good cleaning tomorrow morning, I'll pull the tonneau cover, the bed mat, wash everything, wax, polish all the stainless and chrome, polish up the wheels, and clean the interior. Not gonna steam clean the interior yet, maybe in a couple weeks.

What brand clay bar are you gonna use? The mothers is the best one I've used so far.

I dunno... never clay bared a vehicle before.
This is the first white truck I have owned and there are areas where it looks like something sticky has gotten on the truck and collected dirt. I got some mold going on (used cleaner wax last summer and got rid of most of it). there are places where the white is just REALLY white and others its dull and dirty looking.
You would think 10 years of treating a truck like a truck, the paint would look better than that...

FO, go to the autoparts store and get a Mothers brand clay bar kit, Autozone, Advance Auto, ORiellys, and even walmart i think carry them, some local stores carry them too. It comes with the clay bar, "lube", and a trial size of wax. I've done many vehicals with a clay bar and have had good results. Wash the truck first to get all the lose crud off, then come along with the clay bar and the bottle of "lube"(quick detail spray). Don't do a large area at one time, for instance, do the hood in four sections and each bed side in two sections. Spray the area you wanna do with the detail spray and then go over it with the clay bar. Only go in the same direction with the bar don't swirl it around. Keep kneading the bar too after you finish a section, it mixes the clay around. Take your time doing it, keep the surface of the truck "lubed", and you'll be fine. You don't want to run the clay over paint that you haven't "lubed". Also if you run out of the spray they give you in the kit, you can use a little dish soap mixed into some water in the spray bottle. It works the same. When you are done wash your truck again and dry. You'll get the feel of the clay real fast. You'll feel how gritty the paint is at first and then it'll start to fel smoother when you run the bar over the paint.
