They're fine. Just had my 4 month cleaning done. I kind of neglected them in the past... hadn't seen a dentist since I was 14 until a couple of years ago. So now I'm trying to catch up and get them back to where I just might be able to keep them for a few more years. Addressing some gum disease junk too.

One of the guys at work is married to a dental hygenist. she has done it for a long time and is developing wrist and forearm problems from repeatative strain.

Went to the dentist once when I was 13 and he found a cavity. Told me I was a 'big boy now' and didn't need any of that Novocaine stuff. Felt like he drilled right down to my toes! When I turned 14 I was pretty much on my own. I didn't 'want' for anything really, but I was basically unsupervised. One of my first 'adult' decisions was to forgo dentist visits. After the drilling experience, I figured how bad could a toothache be? That train of thought lasted right up until a few years ago too, when I got my first REAL toothache! 32 years of dental neglect has taken its toll, but I'm getting back on track now.
