Na, I'll pass. To me it's not fun if they can still moooooove on their own. If you cook a thick one like I do it'll be a solid medium.
Y'all be good, see you in the A.M.

Yeah, packages should be coming in on Tuesday, if you don't mind double check see if everything is there when you come in. Gonna drive in Saturday night and put everything in Thursday. Even got the stack shield too.
Fixed my new inverter too, bad ground... figures.

Talkin steak still... I don't use any rub on mine. I put some course salt and fresh cracked black pepper on both side of mine. Grill it over charcoal only, I don't use natural gas or propane. I cook mine between a medium rare and medium. Sometimes I rub in a little minced garlic too for some flavor.
A fillet is a nice tastey cut but pricey!! The wife and I will get them once in a great while from the local butcher. He cuts them to the size we want and is better priced than the grocery store or walmart. We usually go to the local butcher for most of the meat we cook.
I'll use a good rub on ribs, chops, chicken, and some cuts of beef. One rub I've become fond of is the Charlie Vergos Rendezvous Famous Seasoning. The FIL gave me a container of it, and it's very good on ribs! I haven't used it on anything else yet.

Matt, if you want to try some unique seasoning, try this stuff

First time I ever had anything with that, was in Hay River, on a layover between flights to the mine I was at. Good stuff, bought some, used it up, but at that time, it still wasn't commercially available.
Having had some of the over the counter stuff, its still just as good as it ever was.

Cool! Must have been printed when Marconi was a kid.
Used to be that wasnt a good thing to be called in my oil field days! He must like you.
Have to look into it.
Having Reuben sandwiches for dinner tonight (corned beef is on sale). Pain to make right (10 min on each side) but pretty good. Back to cooking.

Sounds like it's worth a try. I like differnt rubs and seasonings I really like the ones that are harder to get around here and are not name brands, never heard of that one!
I had CB&C tonight, made my grandmas recipe today. Came out good like it always does. Going out to the pub Wednesday evening for CB&C with the wife and some friends, the local pub makes some good corned beef and cabbage! My firend and I have been going there as a tradition for the last 5 yrs for the CB&C.

I wish I was as fine, as those who work the pipeline!
Hey Bark (or anyone really),
Gonna be going to rigs all over the place here soon. what GPS unit do you suggest???
I probably will never link with my phone. It would be cool to be able to plug in gps coordinates from a well plan and have it figure out the route.
Are oilfield roads even on gps maps???

Hey Matt,
Steaks turned out great. I do cook on a propane grill (weber). I am a bit of a purist though. Don't care much for seasoning on my steak. I prefer the flavor god gives em naturally!!!
Man they were good though. 4 steaks weight 6.8 pounds!!! I think I might consider finishing heifers from now on. She was even pregnant when we finished her. The vet said it would make her more tender, I thought he was kidding.
Oh ya, BTW I did order amsoil power steering fluid. Kinda funny that they suggested ATF. Might have to send them a note on that one!
