DTR Breakroom 03.14.10-03.20.10 (The Janitor has alot of spring cleaning to do!)
Evening all. Just finished packing wheel bearings and changing tires on the new-to-me tow dolly to tow behind the motor home. Now I have to finish cleaning out and packing the new-to-me motor home for a trip this week. We'll see how the maiden voyage goes.
In case you are interested, here is a more extensive treatise on the various types and functions of the dark absorbers or dark suckers as they are called in other circles.
Have a good evening.

Afternooner all!
Overcast here today and only about 2* or so. Still not bad considering ther is a decent amount of daylight out there these days.
The wife and I were doing a bit of bible study with the kids this AM and our 5yo said the funniest thing. We were discussing Genesis 1 and what was created on which day. When we prompted her about what was created on the same day as the creatures of the sea she was struggling a bit so I gave her a hint that it was something in the air... Her reply was "Reindeer".....
Kids are hillarious.
Sludge in the pot looks good. I'll have a slice.

The ones I get cut local are great, tender and juicy. I use a rub, let them set for about 3 hours and then cook until 145-150 in the center. Melt in your mouth good.

Your own rub or a favorite store bought.
I like mine good and red, but just a little over rare. Kinda in between rare and medium rare. I guess you could call it a rare medium rare....
