Distance is about 13'. Or should I go straight up through the roof? I'd rather not go thru the roof but will if it is the best option.
Thinking of doing some remodeling and moving things around.
As was mentioned earlier in the thread, subtract 5 foot from the total allowable length of 25 feet for each 90 degree elbow. Violating this rule increases your energy costs, creates a fire hazard, and shortens dryer life, as well as increasing clothes drying time.

You will likely have two 90 bends just to get down into the crawlspace and aimed in the right direction. That limits you to a 15 foot total run to the outside. If you go back up into another room, you would need two more 90s at a minimum. You are now down to a 5 foot total run, and it can't be done.

If possible, I would go down into the crawlspace then direct to the closest acceptable foundation wall. You'd have to punch a hole in the wall, but that would be better than having two 90 degree bends. The vent should be located someplace that you can get to, so that you can deal with the lint without difficulty. You will have lint coming out of the vent, which is why you don't want it on the roof.

This is why laundry rooms should always be located on an exterior wall. It isn't uncommon to find houses designed with room layouts that make it impossible to properly vent a dryer.
