This is with the little bales, the big round bales are hauled with 1' deck extensions in the stake pockets to make the deck 10.5' wide:

The load there is 10bales/stack, 5stacks long and 7 high. Row 7 is missing one stack, that's the 4 bales missing in front and 6 on the end that you can't see. 65-75lbs/bale
I wish I had a picture of the big rounds... I'll try to get my dad to email me the scale ticket scans from those loads.

We have a field right next to the river. We had about 300 round bales in the field. Well thanks to all this rain we had to rus to move out the bales. I have a 35' DT GN trailer and for two days straight I hauled hay. total was 18 bales per load. The book says the bales are 1000-1200 pounds.

I have photos of Rowdie Cumbrie - from the Snyder, TX area - leaving the Conoco service station on I-20 in Sweetwater, TX, Thanksgiving 02. He was in his 01 Ram CTD Dually pulling a goose neck with 20 rolls on it getting ready to hit the 2-laner. I was impressed.
