Dockson oxy acetylene torch?
Dockson oxy acetylene torch?
I used to gas weld a fair amount as a kid (no 220 in the shop), but it's been a while...
My uncle recently dropped off an old Dockson oxy acetylene welding/cutting outfit, and I had a couple of questions.
I don't think Dockson's have been made for years. When I used this rig as a kid it had a rosebud, but when he got it back from the guy he lent it to it is missing. Where can I find something equivelent to about a #5 Victor that will fit? The handle is model 6. (On the plus side, there is now a big heavy duty cutting torch that wasn't there before).
Secondly, I'm assuming this thing does not have built in backflow/backflash arrestor? Haven't had any mishap yet, but I would assume adding some ASAP would be wise?
Thanks in advance.
