not sure if this should be in the P&R thread but i figured here ti would get a bit more attention.

so bassically a registered and known terrorist group called the tamil tigers have been protesting in down town toronto for the past month by blocking off university ave in front of the american embassy. University avenue is also home to about 4 major hospitals. as if blocking emergency routes wasn't bad enough and causing down town traffic havic they decided to block off our 2 major arteries leading into downtown Toronto.

last night they blocked off The gardiner Expressway which is our main feeder along with the Don Valley Parkway which is also another major feeder into the downtown core. They held the city of toronto hostage with no quick access into the downtown sector so they could get more attention into the "genocide" as they call it in their home land.

now im sorry but if you want sympathy putting people in traffic for 3 hours with out moving is not away to get us to feel sorry for you.

if they wanted the war to stop maybe the tamil tigers should surrender to the sri lanken government. or better yet go back home and fight. stop getting us to fight your wars for you.

I don't understand how these people expect me to feel sorry for them when growing up and in high school the tamil tigers where a gang that we were all supposed to be scared of. they killed innocent people, sold drugs, stole cars and car stereos and are the number one people i know of who where causing credit card fraud and would always trying to sell me stolen credit cards or items purchased with stolen credit cards.

How are we supposed to feel sorry for a group of people when all they stand for is murder and crime. look at their flag, its a tiger with 2 aussault rifles and bullets all around it. Doesn't seem that friendly to me.

i just had to get this off of my shoulders cause its really been getting to me the past couple of days

oh and heres a huge kicker. women and children along with baby strollers where casually walking out into the middle of high way traffic trying to block off the lanes. That is GREAT!!!! parenting in my eyes!!!!
