WOW

I did like the 666 reference though

You're pretty good at that, you know...ever thought about writing?

But, do I believe in ghosts?? I'm definately not sure.

Sometimes I have these feelings, like I'm experiencing something over again. And it's not simple stuff like driving down the same stretch of road either. Just the other day, my Uncle, Brother, one of our employees and I were getting a combine ready to go to the field, when Dave (the employee) asked if all the monitors in the cab needed to work. As soon as my uncles eyes met mine to ask that question I got that feeling again...I usually pass it off as my everyday life being repetitive, but I KNOW that Dave was part of the feeling, and he has only worked for us for a month now. 5 weeks ago I didn't know him from Adam.

Ghosts, No. Just funny feelings sometimes. Guess I'm just weirder than I thought,
Chris

Man ever time I read this thread it gives me goose bumps....... I actually get those when "something" is happening. Not very often, enough for me to take notice. I have actually changed my plans because my wife has said she had a bad feeling. If we go out and she gets that sickening feeling...95% of the time we see a car wreck or something where someone has gotten hurt. I always listen to hear.

As fas a 666, what about rt666 in NM? I drove that road once from Phoenix to Farmington. My buddy was telling me a story that he was driving it at midnight, and felt someone poke him on the right side. I was like cool. ok whatever, Well on the return trip it sure enough happened to me. I immediately looked over at him and then in the back of that dakota, then checked my side. Nothing was there, and he didnt do it. He looked over and asked whats up. I'm like nothing. And yip I got my goose bumps from that one too!!

Gotta go, goose bumps again. Dang this thread.......

My mother passed away in 2000. She had been very clear all of her life about her wishes upon death. She absolutely did not want an open casket. She always said that she would come back and haunt us if we presented her in one. When she died, it was very unexpected since she was only 57 and we were all extremely upset. We were in the church getting ready to start the service and all of a sudden the back door of the church flew open. The door had been closed securely before it opened and there was no wind that day. The doors on the front of the church were held open by the door stops so it couldn't have been a vacuum created by opening another door. My sister, brother and I just looked at each other and said the same exact thing at the same time in rhythm with each other. "Mom must be checking to see if the casket is closed!" After we said that, we actually became more calm and I was able to read from a letter one of her cousins had sent talking about my mother when she was very young and how they loved playing together. I don't think I would have had the strength to read that letter if what had happened didn't happen.

I grew up in a house that was built in the mid 1800's. The man that built the house lived there until he died. He also built the wash house, smoke house, saw/smith house, spring house, chicken coop and several sheds and garages. He past away when he was 92, sometime in the 50's. The house pretty much stood vacant until my parents purchased the house in 74 when I was only 3. Growing up, we always made reference to Mr. Rainey when ever we could not explain something. Doors would open by themselves. Windows would shut without anyone around. Lights would turn on and off. We would see shadow figures and hear weird voices. We never felt threatened by anything but we would get feelings of not being alone....Except for one time. I was about 5 years old and my grandparents were visiting one evening and I had already gone to bed. I woke up and noticed someone in my room. It was a man in his thirties or early forties. He came over to the bed and asked who I was and I asked him who he was but he said that he couldn't tell me that it wasn’t allowed. I immediately had a feeling of fear and asked him if he was the devil. He said that he didn't want me to say anything to anybody and disappeared. I ran down the stairs to the living room where my parents and grandparents were and told them what happened and they all said that they heard voices but thought I had the clock radio on because they heard a deeper voice than mine talking. They dismissed it all but I never have. I remember going back up stairs and begging the lord for help. Never saw him (Satan) again!

I do from time to time have vivid dreams about fighting demons. Not demons like on movies but what appears to be regular people with some type of super human strength or what you may call giants out to do evil for the sake of evil. Something pretty bad always happens after one of these dreams. Not global disaster type of bad but something closer to home. List includes a miscarriage by my wife, relative passing away, losing a pet, etc...

I could go on and on but this post is already pretty big.

Hehehehe... Silver bullets? Hehehehe... I'm already dead you FOOL! I am the darkness you cannot see! I am the cold chill you feel when you do not know! When you feel the touch of a hand but no one was there, it was me. When you feel someone is watching you, WE ARE... When you sleep, we are but inches from your peaceful and shadowed face. Waiting to get in only to dash away as a shadow if you awaken. Oh to be alive again!
Clarice is a good girl. She loves life but is fascinated by death. She loves God but is fascinated by evil. She knows better but she loves me anyway.

some of you are seriously mislead. when a person dies they are dead. death is the opposite of life. the dead are conscious of nothing. they no longer exist in any realm. those "people" you say visit you are not people but wicked spirits. they are very active and they mislead people.

My gramps passed away 2 years ago this coming January. When he was in the hospital me and my mom and brother went to see him knowing that he didn't have much time left. He had suffered a pretty bad stroke and his lungs were filling up with blood so he could barely talk and basically everything he said sounded like baby talk.........couldn't really understand much of anything!! It took all that I had to just sit there and talk to him, it's so sad seeing a loved one in that state of mind. It was getting late so I decided to leave, gave him a kiss and told him I loved him and I would be back to see him knowing clearly that I wouldn't!!!

About 20 minutes after I left ( according to mom ) he opened his eyes, looked at my mom and said that he was digging ditches with his brother who had died when he was 15 and with some of his friends. His speach was completely clear and my mom could understand everything he said. It was like he was already in heaven with his child hood friends and brother.

The next day they put him in the hospice center knowing that it was time. My mom just sat there and waited and waited and he just wouldn't give up. She was there for almost a full 24 hours and then decided to go home to sleep for a bit and clean up. 5 minutes after she walked out the door he let go and passed on. He could sense my mom being there and didn't want her to see him die. I truely think that when you are ready to go, you experience something that cannot be explained. I'm not a church going person, I'm not religious what so ever, but I do believe that there are spirits of loved ones that watch over us from time to time. I just wish they would say hello!!!

Granted this isn't really about ghosts or anything, but it does show there are some amazing things that happen upon some peoples departure!!!

~Nick

P.S. Love you gramps!!
