Anyone? Seems like a lot of them have them, but I've not paid attention. Also, is it required to have the 3 red lights under the tailgate?

Flatbed is now out, due to weight restrictions, so my fenders are on the way. Need to know what add to the truck to make it legal, and look good too.

 

I'm not sure about the fender lights. I know that any vehicle over 80" in width needs to have the widest part marked with a marker light at that widest point, but there's a weight restriction that also comes into play in the equation that I can't remember right now. I WANT to say it's 10,000lbs gross weight in combination with 80", but don't quote me on that.

As far as the 3 red lights under that tailgate go, YES, you need them. Any vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000lbs or more need to have those 3 marker lights. That I DO know!

Timberman, as far as I know, you don't need them unless your truck is more than 30 feet long.

Technically, you will need to add cab clearance lights and the 3 markers in the rear center (red).

Yes, they're required for vehicles over 80" wide. That's why Hummer H2s have them.
