Front fender marker/turn signal Q

Just a quickie... sort of
My truck's having some issues with the turn signals and front markers. Are my front fender markers supposed to blink with my turn signals? I never noticed whether they did or didn't before but I'm thinkin' they didn't.
Now they blink with my turn signals but not at the same time. While I'm signalling (blinking), the turn signals are on the fender markers are off, when the signals are off the fender markers are on. And to make matters a little more confusing my front right grille-marker doesn't work anymore. No power to the socket (on the marker side but the turn signal still works) but if I hook up a bulb my front right fender marker gets brighter ???? What the hell? My turn signal works on both sides as do my hazards and headlights, both high and low beam.
I did have an odd little episode happen the other night though. I was on my way home doing 130km/h on the highway and my headlights flickered, my right turn signal arrow in the dash came on very dim (solid not blinking) then the check engine light came on, and the marker light/dash light/horn fuse blew. I replaced the fuse with the proper 20amp fuse which I had in the glove-box and seemed to fix the problem until I noticed all the weird **** last night that I mentioned above. No blown fuses anymore but there certainly is a little a gremlin running around somewhere in my electrical system

Obviously I'm no electrical guru. Ask me to hook up a stereo, fog lights, or alarms no prob. But diagnosing problems like this I'm a little lost. Any suggestions before I start tearing my truck apart on Saturday?
Thanks and cheers!
-Mike

As far as the turn / marker blink- normal and they should be opposite.

Check the grounds on that side and also check the power (bare wire) to make sure that its not shorting to ground somewhere.

X2 you have a ground problem or hot wire is grounding out. Just look at all your wires by the lights. Happens with age.

Check all your bulbs, too. I have had bad grounds and bad bulbs act similarly. Just because a bulb looks good doesnt mean it is. Drove an 84 Mazda with a bumfoozled turn signal til I changed the bulb, then all was well.

Signals work different depending if the headlights are on or not. Headlights off they blink together, on, they blink alternate.
