Was this discussed before?

Too much time to think when driving. Left Winnipeg, wed afternoon @3:00, delivered in E.Chicago Thursday aft at 2:00 P/U Cat grader Friday AM in Decatur, home Sat. night. Way too much time to think. So try to follow this convoluted train of thought.

Ford trucks became the Sterling trucks. Sterling is owned by Freightliner which also owns Western Star.

Freightliner is owned by Daimler who also owns Chrysler.

So DODGE OWNS FORD.

LOL..well not exactly. You are right about Freightliner owning Sterling. But they aquired that by buying it from Ford.

Freightliner does own Western Star, Thomas Bus etc. Daimler owns Freightliner, Detroit Diesel, Mercedes Benz.

And DC owns Aisen [sp?] another big rig auto transmission company. Wonder why they do not use those in Rams or Freightliner/Sterling apps?
