just dont try that 48 hour diet <br>i almost died on that diet <br>if you like to eat... dont and i mean dont...even try that diet <br>i was on it with my girlfriend, she dont eat, but i do <br>

Jack, is it hard to get used to not eating carbs?<br><br>The only thing that really worries me is missing out on all that good pasta. :'( I'm pretty bullheaded so I think if I set my mind to it I can stay with it. <br><br>Talked with a guy at work that was well over 300lbs and he's lost 15lbs in too weeks. Says he feels better than he's felt in 5 years. 8) I'm going to try to loose 30lbs if I can, that includes some exercise every morning when I get home fomr work. Going to start off with 30 minutes on the treadmill and work my way up.<br><br>Thanks for all the useful info guys.<br><br>DB (220lbs and counting down)

My wife and I have tried those high protien diets with limited success. What did work was counting calories. We ran through this website, Calories Needed, found out what our daily intake should be, bought a calorie book and started losing 1 to 2 lbs a week. Then Christmas came and I started &quot;finding&quot; all the weight I lost. : Here we go again....
