Did Dodge make anything bigger than a 3500?

The subject says it all. Work is looking to buy a cab an chassis to put a utility bed on. They normally buy a new for F550, but I'd much rather have a cummins.

If they make it, I might be able to talk them into it. It's either that or a Freightliner FL50

Yes, but not in the US.

4500's and 5500's are strolling around Mexico, but pretty sure they didn't have the Dieles option.
Just big gasoline burning, polution spewing engines.

I thought you could get a F550 with the Cummins?,
or maybe you used to be able to.

(back when Ford owned Cummins of course. )

I think ya gotta jump to the 650 to get engine options. FL50 would be a nice truck.

Lokks like I'll push for an FL50 or FL60 then. I definitely would prefer a cummins and we have had nothing but problems from the powerstrokes.

Supposedly, Dodge will build a 4500 and a 5500 for the 2005 model year. That is what I am told by our local Dodge dealers. They have taken the last two years off from producing a 1 ton cab and chassis.

Wasn't there some agreement between the government and Dodge, something along the lines of the gov helped Dodge out under the agreement that Dodge would'nt produce anything bigger than a 3500? I think that was floating around on this site somwhere.....

In addition to the 4000's, 4500's and 5500's in Mexico there are also bigger Dodge trucks that are commonly used for dump trucks. Never had a close look at one to see what the engine is but will now do some nosing around.
