I guess I caught this one kind of late. I am over here in Kuwait working for the USG as a contractor. I was only 10 when Desert Storm started.
The streets here are crazy on Liberation Day. I watched it from my apartment. The kids run through the streets spraying cars with foam and water guns. There is a lot of partying going on but hardly any American flags.. really odd...

That's cool, it never even crossed my mind about them making a holiday out of it like independance day.

No, just a little north of AJ. I go to AJ quite a bit though. My company maufactures MRAP's and we have a project over here to support for the next 18 months. It sucks being away from home somtimes but the money is good andthe experince will pay off down the road.
