Yesterday my wife informed me that for our third wedding aniersary in March she didn't want a present. I got very confused and suspicous I just knew it had to be some kind of set up or something. A woman not wanting a present? Why in the world would she not want anything?

Well she explaind she does want something to commemerate putting up with me for three years... And here is what she does want... A weekend in Springfield, with a really nice dinner, and a whole day at the Bass Pro Shops. I REALLY love my wife!!!

And she thinks we can pick out my present while we are there.

Take her to a dinner show in Branson. She may say that she doesn't want anything ... but she probably deserves something !!! (You do want there to be a 4th anniversary, right ??)

She wants romance! Wine, dine, and well, you know the rest. Better stock up on the ginseng and oysters. Get a really nice room, have roses waiting, a special gift, and don’t forget a card that tells her how much you love her.

The next day when you go to Bass Pro she’ll let you buy anything you want!

 

if your in BPS in springfield, eat at the restaraunt in the store (not the mc donalds) They have a pretty good buffet.

 

Ahhhhh .... that would be Hemmingway's. There is a real neat aquarium behind the bar with the same fish that you would find snorkling in the Florida Keys. Definately good eatin' ... both the stuff on the buffet and the fish in the aquarium.

a woman not wanting a present and telling you, no its ok i dont need or want anything, is usually a que that YOU BETTER REMEMBER THIS DAY or ur behind is in deep u know... i have tried that angle and it winds up that they dont talk to me for a week or two, and those are just gf's i have had...

Yeah, it will be a nice hotel, nice dinners, wine and roses, the whole nine yards...

And I have a feeling that some jewlery might wind up finding it's way into her suitcase when I load it into the truck...

That will definately score some points with her. I know my husband did that a couple times before we got married, and it scored him some points. He's got something up his sleeve for our first anniversary in April. Won't give me any clues.

Here is where we are going for our 1st. I also have a couple of things up my sleeve (don't want to give it away, she may be reading )

We went to Pocono Palace for our Honeymoon, she loved it. Now we are going to try Cove Haven. Can you say...7-ft. Tall Champagne Glass Whirlpool Bath-for-Two and your own pool in your room.....

They also have a REAL good military discount.
