Bunch of sissies. It makes me laugh when I hear them talking about how HOT it is up north and then they say it's 97 degrees. That's warm, but it sure ain't hot!!

It's 97 degrees here right now. Nice and warm.

You're right Widelod, yoiu can nearly cut the air with a knife around here. Combine that with no breeze, and it is horrible. Speaking of that, with all this humidity, I may just swim in the air to work

I'm looking at nice blanket of fog sitting out on the beautiful Pacific, is that the same?

This morning I tried to drive to work at 5 AM with the windows down. The windshield was fogging on both sides.

Last thursday I was working at a coal mine, a crew hauled in the main cable takeup drum (about 7 and a half feet in diameter and about 7-8 feet deep with a solid end on one siide)from a dragline and cribbed it up in a little distance from where i was working. they started to weld studs on it to hold heaters, i happend to walk by and said "gona heater up" ,"yep 500 degrees" was the response. came in friday morning and went to work on my project, and could hear some air arcing in there direction never paid that much attention. during a slack moment i walked over to see what they were doing, they were sitting cross legged INSIDE!!! that thing air arcing and welding. as you walked up to it you could see the heat just shimmy off the top of the thing. they took away everything i could ever complain about for the rest of my life.

It was 102 Friday, 104 Saturday, 102 Sunday, 99 Monday, and it was 96 the last time I checked which means it's probably going to hit 98 or so today. Then throw in our lovely sticky humidity.

Yall need to come down to Texas and experience TRUE heat and humidity. I think the humidity was somewhere in the 90's today. Temp was 97* and I don't know what the heat index was. A 113* is a good day for us.
