Angry Customer service/Telephone

I just had to call the customer service department for my business telephone line. WOW! You can't pick up the phone these days and get a HUMAN BEING!

I had to press 1 for english, 3 for this, 6 for that and then there are no options that pertain to me at the next menu! Then the lady wonders why I'm already aggrivated by the time she says "how can we help you?". I said "you can start by making it easier to get to a human being". I know it's not her fault but MAN!

They got me so aggrivated, I ended up changing companies just to feel better about it.

Oh well, Is it just me or do you guys go through this also?

Yea I have The absolute worst thing I have went through was customer support with dell When I need help it better be in English, because I have already had enough of miscommunication

YEAH! A couple of months ago I screwed our PC up and we couldn't get on line. I called the tech number. After entering #s for this and that, I got some guy in India. I couldn't even understand what he was trying to tell me to do. I finially told him I would try something else and would call back if I couldn't fix it. I called my internet service provider and got a real nice lady SPEAKING ENGLISH. She had me up and going in less than 5 minutes.

Got that phone tree stuff too much. I hit the zero key several times. That will sometimes get to a human person, if they speak english it is even better.
Will hang up and call back or change to a different company if I cannot get satisfaction. Most tech/support now have human robots that use a script for trouble shooting. The don't have any idea of how a product or service works. If it is not in the script they are no help.

At least you can call the DTR and order some parts for your truck that are not listed in the store and get a human. Well, sort of...

Yes, I can't understand why they will spend millions on advertising to get more customers yet they don't seem to want to spend anything on keeping the customers they already have.

Sister has an IPOD.
Apple has this "speak your problem" phone system now.

I say "Ipod"

it's unbearable.

like said, i usually change to another company when i run into that.

my Dad has a HECK of a time with the india computer help.
i hear annual pay is ~$5k over there,

why pay 45k year here for help, when you can 5k over there,

and you already bought the computer, so they got you anyways

i usually just hit 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 until someone picks up.

best buy & homedepot have same thing, just not as hard to penetrate

The worst I've ever had was with Sirius sat radio. I had it installed and had to call to activate it. Well I could only pick up one channel and was doing it without the FM adapter. A female voice computer said "I can help you with many problems" then ask about 10 questions you answer yes or no. About 5 times we got cut off. Guess what! Had to start all over. I gave up and let the wifie handle it.

the press this and that to get to here and there i can handle, it's voice activated ones that drive me nuts!! i always end up in the garage screaming into the phone and cussing like crazy cause those frusterate me so badly, lmao next time i get one of those i'm gonna try my "india" accent and see if it works better
