Cummins Powerstore Mudflaps

I just got my mudflaps from the powerstore. I was real excited until I pulled them out of the box and discovered they are plastic. I am tempted to send them back, but I will give them a shot if People have had good luck with them..............

So, got any Input?

Thanks for the help. I have never had a set of plastic flaps before.

well could be the crappy ones the dealer put on my new mega dually, they are thick rubber ,mopar peices, but they are not stiff at all, on highway trips they hit on the running boards and the rockerpanels and make the truck feel like it's stuck in 4x4 on dry, needless to say at the first stop on our trip out came the leatherman and i cut those suckers off! i bought a new set when we got to sasketchewan but these are plastic and don't drive me crazy thinking my brand new truck fell off the train before i picked it up.

Cummins ones or the Dodge/Cummins ones?

I've had my Cummins ones for a couple years now.

Definitaly need some trimming.

Other than the passenger side getting a wee bit melted by the exhaust, they've held up great.

Highly recommend fabbing up some weights for the bottom, shop around for them before trimming though.

We have the Dodge/Cummins flaps on our 2003, been on there for probably 3 years. They are on the small side, but I really like the logos, and they are holding up fine.

You've Never had a problem with them creasing or anything? I am worried about them breaking in the winter month's when it gets cold.

On our truck, not at all. And you have heard about the cold and snow that CO has gotten in the past month. They are strong but will give a little, I don't think you should have a problem.

I have them........ pic won't upload, it's in my gallery.
I have had no problems but mine is a flat bed. I got the big rig flap hanger which is attached to a small chain so they have some movement. I am not real sure how you could keep them from cracking or warping with dually bed since they are stiff.

i ordered 3 "C" badges and a CUMMINS DIESEL cap from the power store and i must admit i was not impressed with the quality. The badges looked cheap but looked better after i painted them and the logo on the cap is off center. also took a month to get everything. did not do anything about it as it is not worth my time but lesson learned.
