Anyone seen the commercial Dodge is running for the Cummins?

Bunch of construction workers sitting around eating lunch.
One of them gets up and does his imitation of the foreman.

Black 2004.5 dually 600 with a big gooseneck trailer pulls up behind him as he continues his unflattering imitation.

Voiceover says something like "Amazing how 600 lbs. of torque can sneak up on you".

I do believe this is the first commercial Dodge has produced for the Cummins.
At least in recent memory (15 years).

it was ok but i really thought they should have thrown a punch at the powerjoke like ford has done in the past to the dodge diesel

 

I'm hoping that DC has more taste and class than those other nameless diesel pickup producers.

 

Just eyeballed the current Dodge commercial rotation, and they are only running that spot about 5% of the time.

Hemi spots are getting @60%
Caravan spots @25%
Various multiple car spots @10%

I guess the Cummins is still selling itself.

I saw that one the other day finally and then today, I saw an even better one:

A guy with a Ford is at the payphone and the Ford Superduty is just sitting there, like it's broke down. A Dodge Cummins pulls up and honks its horn. The Ford guy raises his arm and even though his hand is out of view, you know what gesture he's giving the Ram. The Ram hooks up to the Ford with a cable and begins pulling it backwards, even with the Ford's wheels locked like it's in Park. Of course, the whole time the announcer talks about 600 lb. ft. of torque, highest towing capacity and such. It was a great commercial.

I guess there's another one with the Ram pulling a Duramx out of the way in order to get some job done that the Duramax couldn't do. I haven't seen it yet, though.

I would like to see more commercials. I don't believe in the theory of "things selling themselves." You have to let people know what you have available. If things "sold themselves", then why would Ford need to advertise?

 

Maybe because Ford doesn't have a Cummins!!! LOL!!

 

I still think Dodge needs to use this as a commercial
