Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby! Megacab takes 1st place!

Today my son Wyatt took first place in the pinewood derby with his version of dad's truck. Not bad for an 11 year old, since he did most of the work on making it (with me supervising the scroll saw and dremel tool parts)! He also made the Super Achiever award for completing all 20 Webelow activities, plus earning his Arrow of Light award.

awesome, wish i had got into boy scouts, just for the pinewood derby. I killed everyone in my class when we made mousetrap cars, though.

Nice job Wyatt. I remember getting my arrow of light when I was in Weblo's!

Cool Mega, I 'm glad you weren't DQ'd for the stack!

Awesome!
Congrats, we had a double derby car in this family.
Oldest son built it and took first place. Several years later, it was passed down to my youngest son where it took second place by just a splinter.
Good stuff.

I built and raced a few pine wood racers in my day, but I have NEVER seen a pickup with a stack on it in any of the races we were part of.

That is AWSOME!!!!

AAA+ for ingenuity for you and your son.
