Question CTD Badges

do any of you out there find yourself looking at the door emblem on the rams when thier parked or next to you or driving down the road. I always look to see if its a CTD or not.

Yes, and mine gets a second look as I lost one side of my second gen emblems, and I replaced them with 3rd,, I put the Ram 2500 on the sides of the hood, the C emblem which usually goes on the front fender of the 3rd down low on my doors, and the full 3rd tailgate ie; Dodge, Heavy Duty. But I will admit I too look instictivley down at the emblems or the tail pipe Goodluck,,, Rick

Yup.

Or the tailpipe or rear axle if I'm behind it.

we've a "big truck club" around here, all the diesel guys pick on the gas sissies,

always tell them:

"if you ain't driving a diesel, you're a weasel"

Yeah, I look for the badge or a big tailpipe every time I see a Dodge. I gotta get badges for mine, they got lost in a repaint.

I think we all do it now that we've graduated. I was actually thinking about getting 2nd gen emblems for my truck but I later decided not to. When I see a new Dodge Heavy Duty I look hard for the "C" and if it has the Hemi emblem I just kind of feel sorry for the guy because he must be down on his luck....

Diesels Rule!!!

I seen a 2nd gen with stacks in madison and when I got up to it it was a gasser and I just shook my head and thought poor guy doesn't even get it

I like hearing others take on this, as I knew I couldn't be the only doing this. I also look at roofs alot being that is what I mainly do.

I not only look to see if it's a ctd but also look for dtr, tdr, nw bombers decals. By the end of a 10 hour day on the road drivin for a living I've got a stiff neck.

I am like holsteinman - I look for non-stock tailpipes on anything that might have a diesel. If there is a black smudge on the paint behind the pipe
