Afternoon all. It's a great day to be alive. To bad I've got a bunch of projects to due for school and finals coming up. I really need to stop putting this stuff off.

SR, sounds like you've got one of those Pointy-Haired Bosses to deal with just like the rest of us.

Ok, someone help me out here... you mean that's NOT the way to make coffee???

That's pretty much the way I've been makin' it since I was a teenager, but I'm gettin' the impression here that coffee can be TOO strong??? I didn't think that was possible!

Wednesday - Hump Day
Quite a bit on the To-Do list today.
G-G in the lot again. (it's nice to commute for 4 days on 5 gallons of gas)
Made a fuel run last evening $2.41 here vs $2.15 there

Filled up the truck & Poor Man's Aux Fuel Tank (six 5 gallon jugs) $86 (truck had 3/4 tank when I pulled in)

Fox 5 news doing a Gas vs Diesel test this morning.
Two same model vehicles: one gas one diesel over the same roads to see which one can go farter on the same amount of fuel. No-Brainer, right?

Pollen is so thick here the air is crunchy.

Y'all B safe
Ed

Went to the doc yesterday for poison ivy. Put me on Prednesone (a steroid, not an asteroid) and something else to dry it up that knocked me out. Feel like crap this morning, hurt all over. Should have just let the ivy run its course I guess.

OK, up and at em - - inspection time. (banging trash can lids, yelling) Hit the deck. (oh yeh, that was yesterday) Sorry men, carry on. (gotta get my act together)

Little cloudy here today - - another cool front moving in - - it has been gorgeous with cool eves (low 50's) and nice days (mid 70's). More of the same - - hard to take. Have a great day.

12 cup coffee maker-----Fill wth tap water( little gunky things are good for you).....
punch two or three holes in filter to allow it to drain faster( who wants to wait for thier first cup?)........pack in at LEAST two full measuring cups of coffee grounds.....add about a tablespoon of salt to the grounds.....
place on jet airplane afterburner or closest thing to that ya got..... heat untill enough steam is produced to drive a generating station....

GOOD MORNING!!!! anyone wanna cup????

If above method fails.... take a saucepan, fill with water... get one of your wifes favorite white or pink socks( preferably clean, but that depends on your tastes) fill sock with coffee and boil until sock is a nice even tan color.....COWBOY COFFEE......

...one of the other students in the class got to the coffee pot first this morning. He is no longer allowed within 10 feet of the thing . Don't get me wrong, I like a good stout cup o' Joe but that stuff had me sprouting little black hairs in spots where they ain't s'posed to grow !!!

Getting my last minute things-to-do done before heading over the pond this weekend... still gotta locate the Hooters .

SR ... what color of crayons are you using for your memo to the higher muckety-mucks ?? Remember, JO's need the primary colors while the O6 and above tend to go for the pastels. It also helps if you have a puppet show to go along with it

Afternoon all..gawd today has been horrid so far..bosses r fightin about money and what all is gonna happen with partnership, one stormed out n hasnt returned since then, on top of that I got a whole 4 hours of sleep after spending 5 hours straight in one of the kick out pens at the show fightin with hogs and trying to get the kids outta there classes in for pictures and back out as fast as possible while trying to contain 20 hogs in a 20x20 pen that are all hot, tired and wanna be left alone.....oh the joy of fair and being a 4h leader..i have some real purdy bruises from it all so no skirts for me for at least a week..oh and to think i get to do it all again here in about 2 hours..woohoo lol...oh and to top of last night my buddies <both of em drive dodges> and I were walkin back to our trucks at about 1030 or so last night to leave the fair and one of em had a flat..n of course wouldnt ya know..her spare is flat...well couldnt use my spare seein how im a 3/4 ton n shes a lousy 1/2 ton..so I had to drop the spare, throw it in my truck, run up to the closest gas station..which is about 10 miles away, to filler up then came back and jerked the other n threw it on..while the whole time my friend is on the phone yellin at her husband that its his fault that she has a flat and that he needs to fix it and blah blah blah lol...u know..i just wonder how some girls can make it through life without ever learning how to change a tire...granted i was raised u drive it u fix it..but still i cant see how a girl would rather be stuck, helpless and useless instead of spending 5-10 mins of their life getting their hands dirty....lol anyways ive ranted enuff for the day..gonna grab my lunch n finish a few reports and then head out to the hog show...yall have a gooden

I'll bet. Dang I'll be glad when school ends. All I've done is projects, projects, quizzes, tests, and homework for the last 2 weeks solid. Oh well. Tomorrow is empty so tonight I plan on having some fun and relaxing with a couple of cold beers. I started a new project the other night. I took my scotty off and started sanding it smooth. I'm gonna paint the main body the color of the truck and the letters are gonna be silver. After that, I'm hitting up the valve cover, intake horn, and alternator bracket.
