I'm gonna paint the main body the color of the truck and the letters are gonna be silver. After that, I'm hitting up the valve cover, intake horn, and alternator bracket.

Sounds like if you commit suicide you'll have 24 rice kills....

Wifey says this morning "SOMEONE TOOK MY TRUCK"
(and replaced it with a yellow one)
MAN that pollen is thick!!!

Hoping for some showers to knock some of the pollen levels down.
Temps forecast for the 80s today.
Cooler weather in the forecast for the weekend.

Coffee is working pretty well to wash the bugs, and pollen down.

Stuff-to-do list is shrinking, .....good thing as today is my Friday.

Y'all B safe

Pistol,
One thing you have to promise us (or we sabotage the truck while you are gone) - - don't start thinking like them over there. PROMISE!!!

Another gorgeous day in Paradise. I am pushing it to get ready for the big trip too. Lot's of stuff still in the hopper. Be good.

Woke up to a crash and a yell this morning as I was opening the living room blinds.
Car hit a cyclist on the corner...Megs did the first aid, ambulance, cops and of course people trying to drive through.
Very odd for the quiet street. No serious injuries, I am now back on coffee detail. Then I get to deal with the ongoing insurance claim hassles on my truck.

If you show up in the insurance office and they don't settle the claim immediately, they most be more stupiderer than they look eh?

Heather ... you make me tired just reading about how busy you are

Fiver ... I'm too set in my ways to start THINKIN like them, however after sampling some German food and seeing the size of the beer mugs over there ... I may come back LOOKIN like them !!!

SH ... that green stuff is horrible. I haven't sneezed this much in my life. S'posed to rain this evening and hopefully calm down the pollen a little.

Its the bodyshop paint sniffers that are in need of an adjustment.

Adjuster said it will go to her supervisor and then they will approve a correct way to get this done. The dealer had a great bodyshop and it will get done there.

Whats real strange is two other shops told me two weeks tops for the repair and those other guys had it 7 weeks and its worse and lots not done.

Electrical glitch is fixed...broken wire in the steering column from a retainer bolt that broke on impact...and the sniffers said there was no problem in there.

Good thing I did not make my coffee like I normally do.

Gettin' ready to hit the trail.

It's been sprinkling rain for the past couple of hours.
Not enough to clean the streets, just enough to make the pollen/oil/dust mix on the roads reeeeeeal greasy.
Add to that, Wifey says my usual way home is badly backed up due to construction.
Geezer-Glide's gonna be a fun trip home.

aww come on..thats nothing...this week has even been slow for me...lol..you know i have come to the decision..if I ain't runnin round doing a million things at once then I just feel useless...guess I just love to work and keep busy....just wish I had 36 hours in a day..then my days would be perfect and I could get everything I wanted done and maybe have time for myself and sleep lol..but thats just a dream...naw I only have a week left at this job..thank god and I will be training full time..although I still think I will have a few hours in my day to spare and I figured if I go back to working M-F the 6am-2pm that still gives me more than enough time to work at least 5 horses every day so I am seriously thinkin about doing that cus unless I get just a few more clients then I think I would just go crazy lol.........u know now that i look back from readin what i just wrote...i think I need a vacation lol

The setic tank is over there.... or is it there??????? FOUND IT

New house I'm helping to build. Had about 8 1/2 yards of wet fill dirt on the bosses truck. His house, his septic system.

Third trip exactly where he told me to drive, the dump bed hit the ground, and I sucked the seat 'bout up to my eyeballs.

Had to dump in place, but angle required bracing the truck bed with the crawler. Boss guy got in a hurry and raked a bucket tooth thru the corner of his cab and bent the bed. Guess I'll be doing some body work in the future.

Glad this week is over.
