"The Cooler" April 17th - 23rd
Sunny warm day in DC.
In the 50s already heading for the 80s
'Stuff To Do' list looks like the end of the week is gonna be busy.
Feeling a bad case of ****-cataracts coming on.
G-G in the lot again.
Y'all B safe

I feel like a ol' Mopar car...That doesn't want to start this morning!
I hate mornings after getting home from work at 8pm and got to start the morning with a clients computer with a virus infection!
I hope the coffee enough to jump start my brain...

I broke my relief from whining cause I didn't have fresh coffee for him in the morning all the time. I had heard enough about coffee and I told him I don't drink it so I don't know how to make it. He insisted that I make coffee. SO, I took the coffee filter holder thingy and crammed it slam full of coffee grounds (about three fourths of a three pound can) clear to the top, packed it in, and added a little more. Dumped the water in and hit the switch. He came in that morning and the first thing he said was " I knew you made coffee, I could smell it when I turned on to the the access road", which is about five miles away.
He picked the pot up and laid it to the coffee cup and it came out like asphalt. He put the pot back on the heater, took a sip and said "guess I'll only need one cup of that today". He never asked me to make coffee again.

What a day !!! Nice and warm, no wind and not a cloud in the sky. Instructor let us out at 1330 and I am forcasting the first round of frosty adult beverages to be consumed within the half hour.
So y'all don't think you'd like to ride on that cruise ship, eh ? That was a huge wave ... kinda surprised they didn't see it coming. Once in a while it happens I guess.

PW, the sunburn is fine. Only problem is I'm getting kinda red and chapped a bit lower. That's the thing about dealing with upper management (refer to todays Dilbert).
It's being a real pain to explain certain operations to the unknowing. I spent the entire morning working on a memo explaining, in third grade language, what our requirments were. The following was the closing paragraphs of the rather lengthy memo. Hope I got the point across.
"This support activity will have approximately 800 major items to TI and test. Whether those actions are performed at Ft. Carson or at Camp Robinson is immaterial. Initial testing and TI, at Ft. Carson, will give us the distinct advantage of overall time savings in returning the equipment to the user unit. Additionally, it will provide the personnel at this facility with valuable training, which has not to date been provided, on two new weapons systems.
Either way, technically knowledgeable personnel will have to go to Ft. Carson to ascertain location and completeness of these systems. Once these two functions have been accomplished, the technical inspection and functional testing can begin. In short, to properly accomplish our mission, we will require more than just a notepad and pencil to annotate what discrepancies are found."
It's going home time.
