Connecticut State Police Graduation

I know this video isn't NC, but man, this really pumped me up for graduation. Only two more months to go and we'll be doing the same thing. I really like that Cadence. I wish I could find the words to it somewhere. It'd be great for a motivational run or two.

I'm sure you military and police guys will like this. Some of you may not. It sure got me pumped up for June!!!

It gets better toward the end. Hope you enjoy

Impressive. Hope you can post a video, or at least some pix of your graduation. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to make it to the end, but it is worth it. Best of luck

hmmm, I never thought this thread would get a response like that.

After having spent 6 years in the Navy, I find that going through patrol school is anything but "play". The academics are harder, the PT is harder, the hours are longer, it's 24 hours a day just like bootcamp, and it's 29 weeks long instead of 14. On top of that, it's just as dangerous these days.

At least you could show some respect for those who sacrifice not only in the military, but also in law enforcement. They put their lives on the line every day so you can say things like this...

Off my soap box now...

Some folks just can't seem to wander though the pasture of life without diving head first into a HUGE Cowpie. ...

How do you have time to go to the academy and still run this site? You must be a very busy man.

I don't run it during the week. I only do stuff on the weekends. Lary is the man who runs this place nowadays. I WISH I had time to run it!!

Lary is the man. Good luck with the academy. I've got alot of respect for law enforcement. It's the civilian military in some ways.

Jack, that was pretty cool.

You've got 5 months under your belt, and 2 to go? I'd figure most of it now is downhill? Make sure you pay good attention: I've found out that school is LOTS easier than life real life.

Don't worry about that other fella, he's a new guy and doesn't know better yet. There's a big crew here supporting you.

Chris

Thanks for posting that Jack. Brings back memories of my graduation from Coast Guard boot camp, 7 years ago. While our graduation was not near that elaborate with the cadence and marching, ours was outdoors on the parade field. We had the CG band, did formation movements and marching and a small ceremony.
