Talk to your IT guy. If you are able to access the sites from other machines, you may have some malware on your computer that needs to be addressed. I could give you more advice, but being the IT guy, I would rather have my users call me to fix their problems rather than making it worse on their own. After all, I am the one responsible for keeping them working. I don't do their jobs for them, so I don't expect them to do mine.

Also malware (virus, trojan, adware, etc) needs to be cleaned according to your company's security policy. (yeah, I'm that guy too.)

I ran a full system Malware scan last night and it found no issues. I'll try rebooting the router. That's one thing I have not tried.
knc77, I understand what you are saying. I'm not going to do anything to make it worse. Just trying to do the basic things before I call him. He's an OK guy but he can really be a pain sometimes....

Thanks again for all the help. Hey, I'm actually doing some work now since I can't play. Maybe the company did have a hand in this..... LOL

Sounds like you've got some kind of internet filter like BlueCoat, SurfControl, or WebSense.

If they aren't configured properly the symptoms you're having are the tell-tale sign of that. For instance, I can use HTTPS on GMail, but I can't when I try to order cigars from Cigar International. They screwed up the filters and viola, there's your problem.

And the winner is........

15 Digger!!!!! WooHoo!!!!!!
I rebooted the router this morning and everything is working fine now. Kind of weird that it only affected my computer, and not the other three in the office, but I'm happy it's fixed.....

I'll see text telling me that there should be a picture loading but the text is there instead etc.... Now, One thing I noticed is that there is a little swirly timer that appears when a page is loading. Judging by this thing, none of the pages I visit ever seem to finish loading all the way or it takes several minutes before they finish. This happens even when a page looks like it is completely done loading. Anybody have an idea here? I have cleared my history, cleared my cookies, run Spybot, Run Adware, rebooted, and even Defragged. I don't know what else to do. I'm running Mozilla Firefox but I have the same problem when I switch over to MSN....
do a system restore to a date that was working .........that should take care of the problem
