Completely Bedlined Jeep (in red)

Hey I know there's a lot of jeep guys on here and guys with old hunting trucks. So I figured ya'll would be interested in this. Here's a link to pictures of my 92 Jeep Wrangler that is completely bedlined in Red Durabak. I highly recommended this to anyone sick of painting an old truck or jeep; it looks cool, is low maintenance, and is much cheaper than a paint job.

Let me know what ya'll think

I like it. Of course I have a 2000 Jeep TJ bedlined Canary Yellow so I'm all for the bedlined Jeep.

Hey Nice TJ! I like the yellow. To answer the previous question; it cost about $130 for a gallon of the Durabak shipped to my door (then about $20 more in supplies from Home Depot.) For a trail Jeep/Truck I think it's a great idea; I wouldn't do it to my Ram but for a Jeep it's awesome and I highly recommend doing it.

That is so cool to do that. Kinda looks like there is no shine to it at all but yet looks good. I wonder how many gallons it would take to do a complete truck. How did you apply the durabek? How thick or how many coats did you put on? Spray or roller?

I have 2 gallons of it here when I get a chance to do the inside of my bed. This would be cool to do it all though.

I don't know if you have seen this.. LanceD did his whole truck. Pretty much answers all questions one may have concerning bedlining a whole rig. Hope this helps https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ad.php?t=95736

It took me 1 gallon and 1 pint to do my Jeep (2 coats). I rolled mine on. As you can see though there isn't a whole lot to cover because it's so small. For a fullsize truck, covering the entire thing I would guess 3 gallons (2 coats). The product I used is called Grizzly Grip and total cost including supplies was around $150.

I'm going to do the inside of mine but the rock rash I sometimes get on the exterior is easier to touch up with paint.
