Is sound, or should I say irritating noises the new trend in advertising? That singing, woo hoo hoo comercial is bad enuff. Now they run that high pitched ring-tone commercial with the rap music in the background every 2 minutes. I realize everyone thinks there freedom of speech thinks that make it ok for them to encroach on your privacy, but I thought there were laws in advertising that offer a hair of protection, such as raising the tv volume for comercials. Try to listen to the news while you cook dinner and they get the tenitis flaring up.

Just last night, I threatend to throw that (insert your choice)TV out the (same)door if the wife did not turn it down. WOO WOO commercial played twice in about 5 minutes.

Loretta suggested I take a pill and go to bed. I did.

Still think I should have just chunked it and bought some books.

She'd just ask if I had been talking to folks named Redleg, Top and such.

 

It's a scheme that the advertizers use to get you to buy what ever it is that they're selling. Not only is it on TV but the radio also. I've heard some that would want to make you puke after the 3rd time you heard it. The reason they do this is that when you go to the store and you're looking for something, maybe that something is what they were selling and you'll remember that obnoctious commercial and buy their product.

Best thing to do is to stick with the movie channels like HBO and SHOWTIME and you won't have to worry about seeing them..

 

I can't stand it when they play a cell phone ringing on TV or the radio. I reach for my phone every darn time!

 

Now my cell ringer sounds like a cummins Rerrer bun bun bun

Yah some of the commercials are just so ridiculous what is worse is telemarketers it amazes me that they have people calling you from other countrys I'm about to just turn off my homephone just use my cell
