Looks like CHP had control issues.

I think you underestimate the God complex.

He has a bigger Ego than Obama.

The Firefighter was 100 percent correct.

Always risk your safety and your patients safety for the sake of keeping traffic flowing....

That CHP should be charged with forcing the EMT to abandon a patient...

I was involved in an accident on I-5 last month and was amazed at how many idiots hollered at us and sped by til WSP arrived, and even then a few still shouted their most intelligent thoughts our way as they cleaned it up...

Would have been hilarious if there was another firefighter beside the one who got arrested, and they managed to help that officer trip and hit his head on the pavement really hard.

I'm not sure how they were going to open the lane while there was still an upside-down vehicle in it yet.

Sir,
No! It would not have been in the least bit funny to see an officer injured or dead at the hands of firefighters. I take it you are not in the fire service, nor should you be!

My wife use to be an EMT. It's a tough enough job without some one telling you were you can park.
She went back to work as a seamstress.

Now you have piqued my interest. Please explain in detail why this officer deserved to be treated in such a fashion.

Dr drizzle...... Guess that means that when a single civilian does something wrong the police are ok to smash him into the concrete and rough him up and it's ok.....

And we can them say all civilians deserve it because that single one did as well....

( very tongue in cheek)

I don't agree that the officer should be intentionally hurt. I DO believe he should lose his job or at the very least get a one month unpaid suspension.

HOWEVER, let's keep this conversation at some level of civility, shall we? I can see this going downhill fast, so let's not let it! I hate to close threads and pound people with the ban hammer, so just do what I do... be kind, friendly and helpful!

Thanks Chak, and I seriously doubt ANY of us would wish anyone harm, but sometimes the frustration of seeing a professional ( or a supposed one ) doing something so idiotic brings out the vengeance in us.

He deserves to be strongly educated about how to treat people, and have a paper in his jacket should it ever happen again.

The firefighter should have a commendation in his jacket, because he displayed true calm professionalism.

I would love to have that dude working around here.
