Chevy trucks

What is so hard about keeping the driving light on or keeping them from burning out? I bet half of the chevy trucks, SUVs I see they are out. What's the deal?

I saw one last night that was a one eyed monster. Funny you mention this today, I was wondering the same thing.

Both of my mom's are out. Been out for a while. Why? I don't know. It's not from water cause my mom's are perfectly dry and sealed. I think it looks better with them out.

Re:Chevy trucks

Probably due to being a smaller bulb filament than the standard headlight sizes. Smaller high wattage bulbs gets extremely hot, and add vibrations equals short life span. My previous truck was a '98 Chevy C1500 that uses the low beams for the DRL, and for 5 years I never had to replaced the bulbs.

Re:Chevy trucks

I had a '91 chev S10 2wd 4cyl that burned lights out all the time. It ate a headlight every 6 months, When ever I took the truck over 80 mph, the cap and rotor had to be replaced. When I traded the truck in most of the dash lights were burned out.
