Check out my Gallery.

I uploaded the pix of our recent trip and thought some of you may want to have a look.
The truck was even clean enough for a few pictures too.

That is some serious lighting on the front end. Must be like daylight 24/7 with those things on.

They look like LightForce. The biggest ones (240 Blitz is my guess)

Reading his sig, I think you're right. Those things are simply monstrous, and I'm pretty sure PIAA doesn't make anything that big. 9.5"! Gotta get me a set of those.

I have the different lens' for those too.

I have the diffused, clear, yellow for fog and blue for rain.
I wonder what color is for snow?

Nice lights and its a WHITE light. I used them on some remote stretches and saw the wildlife long before they got near the road.
A guy could get a tan from these lights.

Blue, according to this fella: http://www.d-90.com/prod/light.html

I've seen a lot of people raving about how good they are. Those Aussies know a thing or two about offroad-type stuff, if you ask me.

Thats what I was thinking too...maybe rain and/or snow for the blue.

At 14 volts I was told they are one million candle power!!!
A friend of mine has had a set of the 170's since 94. He showed me how he adjusted them to have a pencil beam on the drivers side and flood in the ditch on the right.
Its snowing now so I might have to go out...for something and put the blue lens' on.

Wife asks; "Where you going?"
Scotty answers; "Doing some science. Be back soon."

I've got the Striker 170's on my truck and have been very happy with them. I bought them for using at my lease to illuminate any quarry hanging from a tree to be cleaned. Unfortunately, I haven't shot any "quarry" yet (quarry tends to be an elusive animal). On the "bright" side, they are effective at blinding idiots when they cut you off to make a right turn.
The 240's like Scotty's would be nice, but they were too big in my opinion for my truck (besides, I think Scotty is compensating for something).

They are pretty big. At nearly 10" in diameter, I'm not entirely sure I could fit those 240s in under the hoop on the Sahara bar, or if they'd leave enough room to reach the secondary hood release once they were on there. I need to measure when I'm putting the winter front on today.

Sorry to hear about your quarry problems. I've got 40 acres, and so far the only thing I've managed to kill on it is a couple of mice. With the mower.

How'd your science turn out? Blue work well for snow, too?

Shakey is off for the winter while I revamp some of the parts for it.

I ended up getting the 240's when my truck was in the accident and there where no 170's in stock so they sent me the 240's.

I figure it is a size thing. They knew the 170's would be way out of proportion to the rest of the truck...and me. If ya know what I mean.

I got proof too. Estimated birth weight of our baby is 11 pounds plus.

I thought at first that the 240's were way too big but they looked great on the bumper afterall.
I have one 170 that needs a base and its going to face rearwards under the rear bumper...for...umm...uhhhh...hooking up the trailer...yeah thats it.
