Here is a picture of John Travolta's house in Florida.

He keeps TWO JETS parked at his home, like cars.

I then found his place on Google earth at these coords:

n29 16'41.88" w82 06'59.4"

Cut and paste that line into google earth and when you get there zoom out a bit for a wider shot of his place and the runway.

He taxi's the jets out his driveway onto the runway.

Unbelievable.

That whole community is an airfield. He isn't the only one with the runway. He does a ton of flying and that is a pretty pratical setup.

Yeah I know how those places work. My mom's old boss invited us up to her house one day and they live on one of those airfield communities, it was pretty awesome. All the homes were set on either side of the runway. The trick part about was from the front of the house it looked normal. But they have a door inside they you open up and the whole underside of the house was a hanger! You could fit 2 planes in there and still have tons of room, like a basement on steroids! So you could taxi out from the backside of your house to the runway and take off too cool.

I like Travolta, but I find it a bit two faced and bit of the "you not me" mentality when he preaches evironmental responsibilites to "us", yet flies his own 707 as a private jet. That thing barfs more pollution in one trip than my CTD wil in its life time. And we're both moving the same amount of people. "Do as I say, not as I do".
