Summers coming on and I always have a harder time carrying concealed .I know that a lot of you carry so I thought I would ask how and what type of rigs some of you use in hot weather.<br>I have an inside the pants Galco that works most of the time(the one that you can tuck your shirt in with) but without a tee shirt on in the summer the hammer tins to dig into my side. Also have an under shirt with a built in holster, but I’m not real up on it. <br>

 

Fanny pack always works.<br><br>There are even &quot;quick draw&quot; versions specially made for concealed carry.<br><br>Gun shows usually have plenty of them, or local gun shop should be able to get them.<br><br>phox

 

I'm not a fan of fanny packs (no pun intended). <br><br>I always carry with either a Comp-Tac IWB or a nice leather OWB that I got at a gun show (don't recall the manufacturer off hand). However, I'll admit that in the summer I tend to carry less than the rest of the year...

 

The 'pager pal' is a nice set up.. Not the quickest draw, but very discreet, since men usually dont look at other mens crotches.. It helps if you dont have a tummy roll though, easier to draw...

 

I also don’t really like a fanny pack. They just seem to shout “ hey I have a gun in here”<br><br>I have tried the pager pal and it does work fairly good but the hammer on my Kimber tends to dig a little after a few hours.<br>

 

Boot holster...my reason is if attacked I'll be on the ground then I can draw from my boot or if in a car I can draw faster...besides the fact that most quick hand searches cant feel a inside the boot gun
