Canucks vs Merkins

I don't often post links to other sites but I have gone through this at quite some length and I cannot find a single offensive or suggestive word.

http://whatsdifferentincanada.tumblr.com/

I would love to hear about any additions you can suggest. To be clear, considering Scotty or I to be representative of all things Canadian would be like saying that the Westboro Church Members are typcial Christian Americans, so let's no focus on the idiosyncracies of our members and assume that they are fair representations of the nations they call home

Have fun all y'all.

Canucks vs Merkins

1).After shaving your fellow Canucks back or performing a Brazilian, be sure to confirm that the merkin is the proper size before wearing. Use of an improperly sized merkin may result in great embarrassment or pain.

2). Do not be embarrassed to ask for assistance. For best results, it is recommended that four persons be recruited for this purpose — one to grasp either leg, one to apply the merkin, and one to act as lookout.

Merkins originated in Europe during some infestation or something, IIRC, that the upper class would don during nudity so as to not offend appearing underage for such events.

Was that clean and clear?

I know Canuck couples prefer to attend sporting events as twinners, wearing matching clothing and hairstyles. Are Merkins part of this attire??

Take it easy guys, we snuck in from Ottowa some hundred years or so ago thru the Niagra Falls checkpoint, so I still have a little Canuck blood in me, just no merkin....

This may be more of a north / south thing but what I call BBQ, my southern friends call 'grilling' and what I call 'smoking' my southern friends call BBQ.

Buffalo, NY is the only American city that can celebrate Canadiens and talk the same. our favorite beer is Labatt's Blue and hockey is spoken in every business. auto parts stores ask if you're calling from the states or Canada. anyone can name five fav radio stations that come from Canada, same over the border. flannel shirts are four season attire.

most down to Earth folks Buffalo/Ft Erie to st Catherines Ontario. Least OPP(ontario Provincial police /state troopers) crime reported...

both border citizens know all the words and melody to both National Anthems....

I believe, the Bills are the only team to play a regular season game in (toronto) a foreign country.

love the Red Green show still....

I'm now at the other end of Canada and enjoy being close again. When I was a kid we would venture to our family cottage on Georgian Bay and I would spend the day fishing with my dad, grandfather and Uncle. I loved it there.

Nowadays we head up Vancouver Island and fish the west side. Different end, same great people!

Eh!?

Whatever happened to Molson Golden?

I know one difference.. and a rather ironic one.

While waiting inside the sitting area at the rental car place at the Edmonton airport, the one lady behind the counter was quite busy... she kept giving us beer (Labatt's Ice as I recall) to drink while we waited on our car

Also, while I was born stateside (and therefore eligible to be POTUS), my dad was a Canuck... and proud of it.
